2. Services
Signature Built Ins provides custom carpentry, millwork, and interior installation services including but not limited to custom built-ins, accent walls, media walls, pantry remodels, fireplace surrounds, laundry room remodels, ceiling fan installation, and TV mounting, primarily serving the greater Atlanta Metro area of Georgia.
We reserve the right to decline any project request at our sole discretion, including projects outside our service area, scope of expertise, or projects that cannot be completed to our quality standards.
3. Estimates & Quotes
All estimates and quotes provided by Signature Built Ins are free and non-binding until a formal written project agreement is signed by both parties. Estimates are based on information provided at the time of consultation and are subject to change if:
- The scope of work changes after the initial estimate
- Unforeseen structural issues or conditions are discovered during the project
- Material costs change significantly between the estimate date and project start date
- Client requests modifications, additions, or upgrades to the original plan
Verbal estimates are not binding. Only written, signed project agreements constitute a contractual commitment from Signature Built Ins.
4. Project Agreements & Payment
Prior to beginning any work, a written project agreement will be provided outlining the scope of work, materials, timeline, and total cost. Payment terms will be specified in the project agreement and may include a deposit prior to work commencement and a final payment upon project completion.
Failure to make payments as agreed may result in work stoppage and forfeiture of any deposit paid. Signature Built Ins reserves the right to pursue legal remedies for non-payment of agreed amounts.
5. Access to Property
By scheduling and agreeing to a project, you grant Signature Built Ins and its authorized personnel reasonable access to your property for the purposes of completing the agreed work. You are responsible for ensuring the work area is accessible and reasonably clear prior to the scheduled start date.
We will treat your property with respect and take reasonable precautions to protect floors, furniture, and surrounding areas. However, we are not liable for incidental damage resulting from normal construction activities that are inherent to the scope of the agreed work.
6. Changes & Cancellations
Any changes to the agreed project scope must be requested in writing and will be subject to a change order, which may affect the project timeline and total cost. We will provide written approval of any change orders before proceeding.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a project, please provide as much notice as possible. Cancellation policies, including any applicable deposit forfeiture, will be outlined in your project agreement. We reserve the right to reschedule projects due to unforeseen circumstances, material delays, or weather conditions and will communicate any changes as promptly as possible.
7. Warranties & Workmanship
Signature Built Ins takes pride in the quality of our work and stands behind our craftsmanship. Specific warranty terms will be provided in your project agreement. In general:
- We warrant our workmanship against defects in installation for a period specified in your project agreement
- Manufacturer warranties on materials, hardware, and fixtures are passed through to you and are subject to each manufacturer's terms
- Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, improper cleaning, water damage, structural settling, or modifications made by third parties after project completion
To make a warranty claim, please contact us in writing with a description and photos of the issue. We will respond promptly and, where covered, remedy the issue at no additional charge.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Signature Built Ins shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or services, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of revenue, or damage to property beyond what is covered under our workmanship warranty.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
